Dr. Gonzalo Blasi was giving a lecture on implantology in the previous sector in the International University of Catalonia to a group of students and visiting professors from La Salle Bajío University, León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
There were 4 hours of training on the latest technologies that we use at Blasi Clínica Dental Barcelona in implantology. Both the use of 3D radiography (CAT) and digital dentistry were discussed. The latest studies published by our doctors in the area of dental implants were also presented. The importance of communication between dental specialists for a good diagnosis and individualized treatment plan for each patient according to their characteristics was explained.
Dr. Gonzalo Blasi is an associate professor in the department of periodontics at the International University of Catalonia since 2017. He collaborates teaching undergraduate dental students as the periodontics master’s program one day a week. In the master’s degree, our doctor gives a class of implants weekly and also leads different implantology and periodontics research projects.
In addition, Dr. Gonzalo Blasi collaborates with the University of Maryland Baltimore, in the department of periodontics since 2016 and visits the university once a year to teach dental implants and periodontics to residents of that and other departments.
