This past week, the Blasi brothers have presented for the prestigious CPOS study group (CPOS CENT PERFECT ODONTO-STOMA). Our doctors gave a two-day conference on interdisciplinary treatment for a group of 30 French restorative dentists from Bordeaux, Montpellier, Monaco and Marseille, France.
In their lecture, doctors spoke in detail about treatments that involve the three specialties, periodontics, orthodontics and restorative dentistry. Above all, they focused on the importance of the treatment plan and the sequence of multidisciplinary treatment. They also emphasized communication between specialists in the treatment of complex patients.
They also had the opportunity to share with the assistants the treatments performed in the digital dentistry clinic, using intraoral scanners and computed axial tomography. We use this technology to improve the diagnosis and treatments of our patients. With this technology there is a better communication between doctors and also between doctors and dental laboratory. In addition, this technology allows fewer visits and reduce the time of visits of our patients.
