14 Nov Dr. Gonzalo Blasi gives a lecture at the University of Maryland
Last Thursday, November 8, Dr. Gonzalo Blasi taught a course at the University of Maryland Baltimore, United States.
Dr. Gonzalo Blasi is a visiting professor at that university and maintains a close relationship with the periodontics department by publishing research articles jointly in addition to visiting the university every 2 years.
The lecture that was given was about soft tissue management around teeth. More specifically, on root covering and the different techniques that can be applied in different situations.
The University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry was founded in 1840 and was the first dental university in the world. Currently, the dental university is in the top 10 universities in the United States.
On this trip, our doctor was also able to attend the annual congress of the American Academy of Periodontology that took place in Chicago.
In addition to being a visiting professor at this university, Dr Gonzalo Blasi is also an associate professor in the periodontics department of the International University of Catalonia where he combines teaching with research, precisely in the field of mucogingival surgery.
